Hey, BaltiBrewers.
Hopefully either you've already filled out an entry form for the ChiliBrew (v3.0) this upcoming Sunday, or you're going to do so immediately upon reading the rest of this...
In case you've somehow been completely out of the loop 'til now, I'm talking about this event: http://bmorecharmin.intuitwebsites.com/
You will read that site's About section and realize why you will have an awesome time at ChiliBrew.
You will read the Rules section and understand what you must do to compete.
You will go to the Compete section and fill out an entry form to bring mucho booze.
You will email bmorecharmin@gmail.com with any questions.
You will show up with us in Hampden at noon Sunday and rock that $#!*.
That is all.
GO NOW AND BEER BE WITH YOU.
Hey Baltibrewers - originally the competition was to be held on Saturday, April 23 until they realized that the date was the day before Easter. That being said, it was moved to Saturday, April 30.
The point of contact is Dwayne at the brewpub @ 410-313-8141. You should still call and put your name in for the competition. Plus Dwayne can answer any questions you have about drop off, etc.
Good luck!
Jester
Sunday marks Baltibrew's first big collaborative brew with a professional. Brian "Stillwater" Strumke will be leading our club brew at member Kevin Berry's house.
We'll be heating water by 9 a.m.to make 40 gallons of beer.
Please bring beer and food to share. John Jester will be making a chipotle venison steak, and Ryan Boddy will be bringing Jerk Chicken; both to be grilled. If anyone's worried about vegetarian options, feel free to bring 'em with!
Club members should bring a lawn chair of some type if they want to sit, and may want to consider an E-Z up or other shelter in case it rains. <More details after the jump.>
Awesome meeting last night. Got to hang out with Lee Marren, Stone's regional rep. Great time had by all.
We talked about Sunday's brew day with Brian "Stillwater" Strumke, and next Sunday's Chilibrew 3, amongst other things.
Minutes are here.
Full post up about Sunday's big brew sometime tonight.
It's time for our monthly meeting. At Muggsy's as usual. 8 p.m. as usual.
We'll be discussing the following:
Bring beer, and let us know if you have other items to discuss in the comments section.
Hope to see you here.
